The car which I didn’t think would exist... another white, 320CE cabriolet. Not far off top thread but should probably be below it given miles / nick.

Yes. I spend a lot of time in and around the expensive parts of London in my two grand, 26 year old junior saloon, really revving that 4 cylinder engine for the baying crowd.

It's white, boo. It's a sportline, hooray. It's tatty, boo. Nearly a quarter of a million miles, hooray.

White is WIN!

Rest of it is boo mind you. Look at that OSR corner / inop roof / goosed roof fabric. Parts car surely.

I believe so, hence my nomination for a Phaeton as the legitimate barge of the VW stable and my rejection of the Passat petrol estate.

Sadly, I think you're right. I love them but I wouldn't touch it.

Agreed, I saw the OSR corner and it just makes it look like a shed. I personally don't think white does these any favours, they seem much more elegant in a darker hue, such as a nice dark blue or green. In my humble opinion, of course!

Check out that seller's eclectic stock list - everything from £1500 quid sheds to a £60k Nissan GTR.
Oh, yeah and this for just below thread max, which I gather will set some pulses racing around these parts....

I actually saw one of those SC430s this morning driving into Belfast. Youngish fella driving it too. I always thought they looked good and quite quirky but in a nice way.
I remember reading the stereo is top notch. Mark Levinson or something?

I think I have just found the cheapest ever running X350. I don’t mind the colour either. Surely this could be broken for parts for more than the asking price?

£15k gets you all 3 with enough change to remedy the Volvo's bodywork. The road tax bill would be fairly brutal though.

Those (AMG-branded) wheels are gash.

It might be badly phrased ('part SH', '2 Main Dealer services', 'last serviced May 19' (same time as the MOT so possibly not much of one if done by an MOT place)), so one could deduce that that might only have had two services in 12 years and 105,000 miles. The 500 is a decent lump I think but that doesn't look like a much-loved example to me.

Barge heaven. Boring colour but will provide dependable and comfortable travel until the extinction of the cockroaches.

CdeG (and true 'barge' connoisseurs) heaven. Boring colour but will be making menopausal women go weak at the knees until the extinction of the sharks.

MOT Thursday. Do you feel lucky..?
Previous MOTs have mentioned brake pipes, which have presumably been dealt with, the only other worries would be subframe and fuel tank strap corrosion, not ever noted as an advisory; I'd look at that, if it was local.
