Green with black is a good colour combo as far as I'm concerned and plates which tell you what the car is don't do anything for me so I think you're being harsh. I would sooner have an auto though.
A manual V6 XM would be a good thing. I had a long chat with a local Citroen dealer a few years back who told me he'd sold two V6 XMs new, both auto, and both had multiple new gearboxes under warranty.

Surely he receives a little leeway as weird french tat getting a load of money sunk on it is probably a key factor in the divorce proceedings? There but for the grace of barge go we...
Look at his user name and other items for sale, and the Renault 25 on the driveway in the background of the XM pics...
Yep, clearly a pervert for French tat.

Ugly ugly ugly, but solid solid solid.

Which part? The driver's door or the rest of the car?

It was the dials that did it, I forgot all about these. Also Alan Partridge had one

Better yet, buy a Spanish one and transplant a 1UZ into it. The perfect way to own a V8 without looking like it.

Nice car but crap ad. No interior shots and nothing approaching the sort of service history we saddos love to see.

As lowtimer highlighted, some sketchy paint matches but, to be frank, at this age all cars have had or need paint.

I rather like it.

Looks quite attarctive in Werther's spec, bit too much wide-angle photography for my taste. Honest shot of the fuel economy is nice though.

That's about as nice as an X5 gets, IMO.

I know it's a big car... but that fisheye effect makes my brain hurt.

It's a sign of the times when a nicely-coloured original X5 doesn't actually look too vulgar against modern items.

That's not an original X5, that's the 2nd generation smile

Which is why there's little chance of it being bought within thread budget.
