Seen one in the showroom and not a fan of the stripe but the rear carbon fibre centre console looks a bit fun.

They sound the business and I like them for being different. It’s a posh panamera!

This really. I'm sure it's an awesome car in isolation but I'd never choose it for carrying 4 people and luggage on a trip and there's better track cars etc. No one buying this needs a one car solution.

Always liked these. Early cars are now sub £40k. 10mpg around town would soon get annoying mind.
hmm, my '05 quattroporte 4.2 V8 would be lucky to sell for £15K (low mile and immaculate inside and out), and it gets around 10mpg in central London (where I live). My DB9 also gets around 10mpg, but is worth easily twice as much... so why would anyone buy the cheaper car? both are lovely, the Maserati is just mentally more of a worry maintenance wise to most people (to be fair the DB9 is the most reliable car I've ever owned, apart from the radio).

They are both economical compared to the 4-8 mpg around town you get in a v12 Murcielago (also mine, so real world numbers).

So what's my point? what is fuel economy compared to sounds those cars make? they all sound INCREDIBLE...... they all have their enjoyable driving characteristics too.... if you're a piston head.... its all about the experience, not the MPG...

I moved to the UK about 10years ago, and never before have I heard men under the age of retirement speak of how many MPG they get.... but then I'm from Australia, and my first car was 5.0L Ford V8, quickly upgraded (engine swap) to a 5.8L.... by the time I was 19, I had a 7.2L GM engined car... Most of my life single digit fuel consumption was the "norm". Yes as a uni student petrol was a large cost, but that was the price for being a pistonhead/petrolhead...

Not criticising, just amazed that MPG is even a subject when it comes to owning performance car...

This is a forum member's (dbzen) example - I don't find it chavvy, I cant see any resemblance to a Mustang, and the interior is quite special. We're all individuals...

WOW! That really is one of the best looking 4 door cars I've seen. Even if I am biased towards Aston.

Sad that Aston has gone from a Gentlemans express with classy styling, to pointless aggression like so many others.
For me, I'd like that engine with the original Vanquish body, with the factory manual conversion. Nearly as much as I'd like a Vantage V600 LeMans!
