Wonderful thread, love a 4 door saloon.
Grew up on a diet of them sat next to Dad.

Here's my favourite, biased because it's one I own.

People posting BMWs, Audi’s and Mercs - sort yourselves out.

Anyway, surprised no one has posted this,

Or maybe they have and I haven’t noticed? Anyway, always lusted after one.

Good shouts on the Alfa’s and Jags. Excellent design aplenty.

Enjoyed reading the thread, so just thought I would finish the discussion by giving you the clear winner. Ladies and gentlemen, i give you the 1989 Orion 1.6i Ghia. I may be a little biased as this one is mine!

I love a tidy Orion. Do you have a reader's car thread?

When I posted my contributions at the start of this - the e60 m5 and w124 e500 I had somehow forgotten the classics.

Then someone posted the DS - it’s appeared a few times on the thread - and here it is again.

What a spectacular car - so different and creative - oh Citroen what have you become?

I did used to quite enjoy owning this

Whilst it is an obviously attractive car , I always thought it looked like a scaled up 3 series. Don't get me wrong, I would buy one

You're doing it wrong for this thread, you need an Orion with a rear wiper smile

Great call! Certainly one of the most beautiful "saloons" of the last 10 years. And highly under-rated.
