Yep. I've owned a lot of different cars in the 21 years since my first car, but they include five 3 series and two Caterhams. They each do what they set out to do just so well with relatively few (imho, none) competitors.

It sounds like we have similar car interests, I've had four Sierras previously and in recent years four e39s.

I've just remembered I've had two mk3 Mondeos too, and four Transits.

There are a few brands that appear more than a few times in my car history.

I have had 6 reliants of various sorts from Regal, robin, kitten and three scimitar GTE.
I currently have my third Scimitar GTE.

My everyday car has swapped between honda and Mercedes for the last few years.
I have owned three Mercedes and have my fourth honda.

I’m on my 29th Manta in 17 years of driving. Still own the first I bought. Also had:

8 Mk1/2 Carltons
8 Senators
4 Bedford CF2s

Not sure why I like GMs products other than my dad having base model cavaliers as repmobiles!

I'd love a 24v Senator, MK3 Cavalier GSi2000 / Turbo, GSi3000 24v Carlton or MK2 Cavalier SRi130 saloon.

I've never had a Vauxhall(been very close and I almost purchased a Cavalier Turbo on two occasions!). I've also always lusted after the same cars you mention. cool

That's rather impressive. 28 crashed/scrapped/sold - half of those most likely crashed/scrapped/sold, no wonder they are fairly rare these days.

The Manta (ideally with a 400kit & redtop) is one of those cars that if I was ever in the right place at the right time with "fun" money I'd have a job resisting. Only a very small number of Vauxhalls have that effect on me.
