This is the worst "I've got a Corvette C7 Grand Sport" post, ever - but this article makes me happy that this lives in my garage...! -
She looks pretty good to me - love the bonnet bulge. They are mega expensive here in Australia. Check out their prices on carsales.com.au. Unbelievable!!

Could be wrong here but isn't that because they legally have to be converted to RHD? Import taxes etc, then that on top. They are mega expensive here in Australia. Check out their prices on carsales.com.au. Unbelievable!!
I can't feel for the C7 as anything other than a good car after some seat time on the road and on track. OK so some of the build quality isn't as rigid as ''superior'' cars (the steering wheel, switch gear and the engine cover which flexed when you prodded it spring to mind) but it'd be ignorant to look past what they offer.
I've always had a soft spot for corvettes, I only have a C4 but the only reason I didn't look at a C7 when buying my last car is that due to the conversion required to get them here in Australia, the prices are disproportionately more (Anywhere from $200k upwards which simply didn't feel worth it).
executed correctly, I think the next gen Corvette will have some SERIOUS potential if not loosing a bit of its DNA in the switch to mid-engine - it seems GM are conceding that they've pushed it as far as they can in the current layout.
