Around 2750 were built in Mechelen (Belgium), mainly on a W110 base, typically as 190Ds, although a W111 based version like the one in your pic could also be ordered. There was a very smart grey W110 one in St. Andrews, Bristol, back in the late '80s which I seem to remember was RHD.

There's a different angle to the C-pillar and a curved corner to the side window at the top of the D-pillar so plainly there's a lot of bespoke in there, although it's interesting that MB-style folding hands wipers are retained. It's certainly possible that a (new) IMA body was used as a starting point.
