Hasn’t really aged very well. I think that’s a problem with Callum’s Jag designs. The original XF and the current XJ still look fresh but everything since has just been really dull
Agree absolutely. They looked sharp enough when the first new designs came out and now just bland and haven’t moved things on.

Our roads are awash with butt ugly SUVs these days, the buying public cannot get enough of them, Personally I don't see the attraction of these bulky oversize cars. Even more pointless are these high power versions.
Like any petrol head I love a bit power, my daily drive is a 5.0 V8, and if I were in the market for a £75k 550BHP supercharged beast it would be considerably lighter and have a much lower centre of gravity, then let the fun begin !
Isn't it brilliant that we have a choice?

I don't see the fun in relatively heavy V8 GT for mere road use but I am glad they exist for those who do.

In the flesh the FP SVR looks the biz, totally different even when compared to a regular FP.

Having been out for a drive in the SVR, it is indeed a very comfy and quiet cruiser. The ride on those 22’s is excellent. Now I have read the TG review I get it so much better. I really liked it and have been secretly waiting for this car, as I want to replace my XKR with as close to it’s power/characteristcs, but with the ability to take the family along.

The negatives. I didn’t find it particularly fast and now there is the gpf, the exhaust is not that loud from the inside. The interior and exterior styling looks out dated.

I stepped into a new RRS Sport SVR straight after the test and hands down I’d pay the extra £20k for the RRS.....Having seen the new XE updates, if they get this interior into the F-Pace straight away, I’d reconsider...

Whereas I'd chuck your £20k at a Qashqai and spend the Jag money on a decent sports car.

Sorry but I'd rather have an I-Pace.

I love powerful SUVs and am glad they exist, I think they're tremendous fun but then I'm not comparing them to an Elise.

Although you'd be looking at more like a £35k difference by the time you've added some "essential" options. FPSVR starts at £75k and you probably need about £5-7k of options. The RRSSVR starts at £102k and you'd need £10-12k for a half decent spec.

Is the RRSSVR really 30% (£35k) better than the Jag? I personally don't think so.

Another good real world review video of the F-Pace SVR here, rather than a load of JLR promo footage!

The revised XE style interior was put forward as an option at the very beginning and was ruled out on cost grounds for the XE and all models that followed.

They have now realised that this was a mistake and it will roll into the XF facelift end of the year and F Pace facelift next year

Standard marketing ploy then - hold back the latest updates/tech to release later on to get more sales. I understand it, but that doesn't mean I have to like it, grrr.

My spec is £81k v’s £106K. Plus the desirability factor. Interesting your profile comments on you being a first adopter of the RRS SVR and driving for free. The Jag has been out for a week or so, already plenty up for sale, brand new at dealers.. IMHO, it isn’t necessarily the cheaper option that costs you less in the long term. Heart says yes, head says no!

Stick the new interior in it after the August shutdown please Jaguar.....and I’ll take another look....

Well SVR-branded cars certainly make a lot of sound, as I can attest to recently when a fking retard in a Range Rover SVR went around and around and around the narrow one-way lanes of Richmond centre in his idiotic house-on-wheels, accelerating hard to 30mph, braking, accelerating hard to 30mph, braking, accelerating hard to 30mph, braking, round and round and round.
