The upper front wing is surely lowering rear downforce by feeding turbulent air to the rear wing?
Yep, I doubt that it has seen a wind tunnel.

Front downforce is generally generated from air going under the car and exiting out the sides.

If you floor this in reverse does it literally take off!
I think you'll find the only way to get it to take off would be to invert the car so that the downforce acts upwards, perhaps driving the car on the roof of a tunnel? If you reversed then the main result would be large amounts of drag as the air separates over the upturned rear edge of the wing.
(Just a thought smile)

Does matt paint not slow a car down because of increased air friction?
