Stuck a revo stage1 on mine, makes for a pretty quick family load lugger
Hi Mcelliott

I have been toying with the idea of a revo stage 1 for my diesel vrs estate (2014). My only hesitation has been whether it might negatively impact fuel consumption and also oil consumption (not sure if it is a quirk of my particular car but it does seem to drink more oil than other cars I have had).

What has your experience been with this?
Cheers
Mine's the petrol version but no noticeable increase certainly in fuel consumption and not in oil either. Transforms the car.

Thanks! I’m persuaded... just need to convince my wife it is a good idea.

Someone who doesn't want to pay more to rent it.
If you go onto a leasing website and click "order now" on the first deal you see, then yes, you'll pay more. If you shop around or wait for a manufacturer backed deal, I'd be extremely surprised if you can get into some of the cars on offer for the same price if you buy.

so what you're saying is, when you lease instead of buy, somebody else pays for depreciation?
Interesting theory you have there. How can i subscribe to your newsletter?
When the leasing companies are ordering thousands of units, they can negotiate a better price than joe-bloggs walking into his local dealership. Thought this was fairly obvious? Although I suppose hitting the reply button without actually giving the post a seconds thought is more satisfying than applying common sense.
