Is there another Yorkshire in Eastern Europe that I’m not aware of, as I’m sure you can’t be making this much of a deal about driving the two hundred and odd miles that THE Yorkshire would be from North London surely?

I'm going to have a wild stab and suggest that the issue isn't comfort or confidence etc, more two women from London wanting to arrive oop north in a big posh Porsche rather than a Mini. More image than anything else....
I think you may have hit the nail on the head here

The troubles the entitled have to put up with.

Scruffy students can backpack to the other side of the world with £2.50 in their pocket, so I'm sure there must be some solution to your unimaginable dilemma.

The PH answer is to get another wife.

Other than that, wife will probably find it harder and slower to get out of that there London than get to Yorkshire once on the A1

Once on A1, just head North and get off at the relevant junction,If she cant cope with that, she shouldn't have a licence.
Lol.

Massively showing off to friends and family at a wedding is totally "on brand" for PH. Rolling up and parking near the church in a freshly detailed Porsche (pity it's a diesel - it's a sign of frugality which no PH Company Director has to worry about, but we'll let that slide), slipping on your bespoke jacket (carefully showing off the flashy lining that tells those in the know its one of Saville Row's finest, plus giving the younger ladies a glimpse of your powerfully built torso) is a carefully practised art. It's just not the same turning up in a dodgy imported Nissan Serena minicab having scummed it on public transport from London....

How about getting https://www.scooterman.com/Services?=2 for the day (£150) to drive the ladies up in the Cayenne. You pay for his train ticket back rather than the scooter obviously. You're only £200 down and have your car in Yorkshire. What's not to like?

Assuming the wife and daughter aren't too bIg, could this be a cheaper solution?

Please elaborate..?

Is it because they pay for the accommodation, food, transport etc using their debit card/electronic means etc?in which case they can arrive anywhere with £2.50 in their pocket.

We don't want any of the North London set like this in Yorkshire. Tell him it can't be done, under any circumstances.

I cant believe this is as tricky as it seems to be.
Me, the rest of PH, and as-yet-undiscovered tribes in deepest, darkest jungle can’t believe it either.

I don’t see why the MINI or driving a large modern SUV up the A1 can be a huge problem?
I have done Kettering-Plymouth and back in a day before and that was a long day but still felt fine afterwards.

If driving is an issue of confidence then the train service from London to Yorkshire (York, Leeds etc) is great.
I did Glasgow to Plymouth in one day in a FN2 Type R on 19" Rage alloys, the least comfortable car I have ever been in. London to Yorkshire in a Mini seems positively straight-forward.

Leave em at home and spend the petrol money on a couple of escorts to masquerade as your wife and daughter.

Wingly or helicopter charter or it’s probably cheaper to fly from London to Leeds Bradford airport

Hmm. Yes, first world problem.

Wife is already pissed that I have effectively abandoned her to make her way up, so was trying to make it as comfortable as possible.

Three in the car, up to a big family wedding, and knowing my family, that will more than a Mini's worth of bags, hats, shoes, people.

Actually, maybe train is the answer,

Mind you, £270 for first class!

London Heathrow to Leeds Bradford takes 1hr and costs £175 total with British airways

That’s on Skyscanner and I put the date of his Sunday just for reference
