That's been my approach. 4.3L => 5.0L => 5.5L.

Exactly - my B5 4.4L V8 supercharged is definitely fast enough for me now. Your 5.5L, now that is a monster smile

I've been the same with bikes, for ages I thought 750cc was plenty, and when I didn't I moved up to 1000cc

You have not read the last couple of pages, haven't you? wink
I had not, but if it comes up as an estate on pistonheads and autotrader searches it’s an estate lol
What does the V5 state?

Says estate, but weirdly my previous Porsche macan also said estate on the v5, and that I would not class as an estate !

I bought this a couple of months ago. Absolutely loving it so far, it's magnificent.
It's an early (2014) L494 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Dynamic, to give it its full title.
So that means a petrol 5.0ltr supercharged V8 giving just over 500bhp, 0-60 in 5 secs and a limited top speed of 155mph.
Mine is finished in Barossa Black which is a bluey/purpley colour when the sun hits it. I've de-blinged the exterior a touch by swapping wheels, removing the chrome coloured towing eye covers and changing the vents. Interior is a mix of perforated ivory/cream and ebony, possibly specced by Mrs Beckham...

I purchased it at 38k miles and last weekend I did an elongated journey up to Castle Combe using M/ways, A and B roads. Total distance was around 250 miles and it managed 23.5mpg for that trip which I feel is perfectly acceptable.
Love it. thumbup

I think that there needs to be a thread for 'fast wannabe estates without their own thread' laugh

It's silver. Not my first choice but it looks ok. Ish.
Still contemplating taking it to the paint shop though.

Shame they stopped offering the silver contrast roof IMO. I have black contrast on mine, but would have much preferred silver.

It's certainly large.....but I'm missing the forced induction and am about 100bhp down on you. Yours is properly looney tunes.

Looney Tunes is a good way to describe it - 516lbft/700nm is lots of fun on a dry day, not so much in the wet biggrin

Late to the party... but always ironic to tow a race car that is infinitely slower than the tow car (plus trailer)
