Here’s my chariot of 2 years next to an i30N, a car which I’ve always liked the look of.
Would be a shame if somebody were to buy my Passat, it really is a cracker...!
(Why no pictures of the interior by the way?)

We're off on Sunday! Shame, we'll have to catch you at another event. I don't think that I'll get time to clean the car in time, however...
I've got mates going both days, not been before but heard good things about previous years. Weather looking good outside, hope same for you tomorrow!V8Head said:
Here was my much missed Uber Audi shooting brake (444bhp/450 PS and 0-60 in 4.5 S) with a proper deep thunder soundtrack!….
From outside the soundtrack from those was immense. You'd hear a booming thumping dobba dobba dobba from 50 yards away and one of them approached. No silly crackles and pops. Just pure, slightly menacing, base resonance.leglessAlex said:

Wow threed. According to your garage it's the B5 too, absolute perfection. I'd love to get one after the E63 when they come down in price. What's it like?
The closest thing I think I've driven to it is a Rolls Royce Wraith. It doesn't bang, pop or shout. It just flows across the tarmac. It encourages you to drive it smoothly. It's when you catch up to slower traffic, often obviously not trying to be slower traffic, that you realise the pace it carries.
In Sport it's more comfortable than my old 340i was in Comfort. The gearbox calibration is a work of art; the suspension likewise. It's not trying to be a sports car. It's trying to be the most luxurious BMW estate, just one that happens to be capable of going more than 200 mph. I suspect it gets to that speed with little fuss, and I suspect you can have a nice conversation with your passengers whilst doing so.
