Surely this is the fastest car on the thread and actually the fastest estate car ever built.

I wouldn’t be so sure. Surely the Panamera Turbo & GTS, various HSV creations, tweaked RS6, M5 V10 would give it good run?

That’s not to say it isn’t a belting wagon

3.3 or thereabouts but there isn't an M5 estate worse luck.

Tuned C6 RS6

I don’t mean to be a pedant but there’s over a second between the C6 (4.8 secs see end of You Tube clip) and C7 to 60.

Not a fair comparison - the RS6 will have a new model out soon which will I am sure move things on again.

Loving this thread!

Bit sad though that there’s not many choices for big fast estates outside of the Big Three...

Saab Aeros used to be good.

A shame Jag XFR isn’t popular

But then the other makes sadly don’t make great big exec cars which then sport the Crazy fast sports options

Great car. So easy to drive, comfy seats, handled really well, cheap to run, plenty of space in the boot. Pretty quick too, and stuck.to the road like st to a blanket.

Unfortunately (almost inevitably) it was stolen after 12 months never to be seen again; the only fking times I parked it in a city centre area; once in Manchester where someone keyed down the drivers side, and then in Birmingham where it got nicked!

I know the 7r is a pretty common car, but I still don't see all that many estates around. Still miss the car, i really did enjoy it, but not the unwanted attention you get when driving through dodgy areas.

As an aside, that threw me - I've always understood the Big Three as GM/Ford/Mopar (or rather Fiat-Chrysler, now). Turns out there are different "Big Threes" depending on what country you are talking about. TMYK.

wikipedia said:
The United States' Big Three are General Motors, Ford, and Fiat Chrysler (FCA US).
Germany's Big Three are Volkswagen AG, Mercedes-Benz (Daimler AG) and BMW.
Japan's Big Three are Toyota, Nissan, and Honda.
France's Big Three are Renault, Peugeot and Citroën, although both Peugeot and Citroën are a part of the PSA Group.
Italy's Big Three are Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Fiat, although Alfa Romeo and Fiat are both part of FCA Italy, as was Ferrari until January 2016.

Awesome cars. There's one for sale on torque GT for 8990 at the moment. Now slightly regretting not having a look at torque GT before buying a slow estate recently...
Its been a great workhorse to be fair. I've owned it for 3 years now (the first owner since it was imported) and in all that time I've only replaced a wheel bearing, cat and front pads. I'd recommend one if you don't have a long commute...
