Not that fast with the boat, but usefully brisk when unshackled ( it does have a front, but not in this pic!)

Surely this is the fastest car on the thread and actually the fastest estate car ever built.

Saab Aeros used to be good.

I’ve had a couple very quick Aero’s but compared to some of the stuff on this thread I wouldn’t have gotten close to them. Things have moved on loads, genuinely surprised by the power these Audi’s & Mercs are putting out!!

Great car. So easy to drive, comfy seats, handled really well, cheap to run, plenty of space in the boot. Pretty quick too, and stuck.to the road like st to a blanket.

Unfortunately (almost inevitably) it was stolen after 12 months never to be seen again; the only fking times I parked it in a city centre area; once in Manchester where someone keyed down the drivers side, and then in Birmingham where it got nicked!

I know the 7r is a pretty common car, but I still don't see all that many estates around. Still miss the car, i really did enjoy it, but not the unwanted attention you get when driving through dodgy areas.
Another R Estate here. As I live in neither Manchester or Birmingham it hasn't been stolen once in eight months!

Pretty confident that Volvo wouldnt know where the Merc had buggered off to. Even more so from a standing start.

You may well be right, but (allegedly) its 0-60 is sub 3 seconds and top speed is in excess of 200mph. Pretty impressive whatever....

Nice. There used to be one near me in Limestone Grey which really suited the car - it's easy to think they all get nicked when its reported so often, but really it's a small minority that do. I'm just bitter!
I don't live in Brum.or Manchester either. I'd had 12 months with no issues at all where I live but I guess the biggest cities have the most thieving scrotes!

You're more confident than me, then.

Obviously it is not a standard Volvo Amazon. It is powered by a heavily modified 2.8-litre turbocharged inline-six made by Volvo. It produces 788bhp and peak torque of 723 lb ft and it runs on E85 biofuel. The fastest I have driven it is 205mph on a racetrack, but I think it will go faster and I reckon it does 0-60mph in less than three seconds... This car is like turning up to a knife fight with an AK-47

Aha thought that was the spot! Driven that road many times, great unless you get stuck behind campervans. hehe

I really like this shape - unpopular opinion from what I've read.

Is the capacity compromised much as a result?
