Snap, my 340i. Recently replaced and my C63 has now taken the dump run baton.

We are agreeing. It’s Mr Bolide that wasn’t so clear on what separates a “wash n wax” from a detail, commercial or otherwise. smile
And MB was also in agreement as he spent a small fortune having his E500 detailed.
Booked in for another 'paint correction' this summer -- the question is, do I get it done before the continental tour... or upon our return?
My heart would say before my head after.

I'm of a similar view -- take it there will all the insects in situ (that's a lie, the thought of their little guts eating the lacquer would niggle).

New daily/dog car. Heart said V8 RS4, head said something with warranty and more sensible running costs.
Very nice. I've had my standard ST 4Drive for a couple of years now and they do indeed come with more sensible running costs.

Unless that's a V8 in disguise, I don't think a 3.0TDi qualifies as a fast estate.

Awesome! That red one must be an espeiclaly rare combo. Not sure I have ever seen red like that on an E60 or E61. And this era of Alpina is incredibly strong!

They’re pretty fast for a 2007 car. 0-60 in 6.4 seconds and 152mph top speed. At least it’s an estate car though! smile

Has this got the ABT bits on it too, pushing something like 350hp?

Yes defo rare. The owner of the red 550 has just upgraded the exhaust (due to the old one blowing - proper man maths) and it sounded lovely.

Fantastic of the original owner to have specced a 'sleeper' car in red!

They were going to make more power originally. But the particulate filter knocked that back apparently. Limited numbers too supposedly.
