I love this car. Taken it away on holiday this week, first decent distance and it just demolishes the road in front of it.

Reading your post is doing nothing to reduce my desire to own a tuned Legacy in the near future. Torque GT seem to have one in stock most of the time......... Where did yours originate from? I see Japanese sized numberplates.

I imported it from Japan as the 5th generation is so rare here. Thread below.

Here are my two red estates.

The VRS has now been replaced with this. 2004 WRX JDM, fresh Japanese import. I can't believe the difference between a UK car and a Japanese import. I have only driven it 30 miles so far but already impressed.

Is it an STI or WRX? Looks like it's got the widetrack wheels and upgraded brakes on it.

Fantastic looking machine though, much jealousy!

That’s a great fast estate combo. 850 has to be up there as one of, if not the best looking estates of all time

They aren’t sti wheels. They are forester or legacy sti wheel. Made by enkei if genuine. 17s are forester and 18 for the legacy sti.

I predicted a few weeks back that this thread would prove expensive for me, and so it has ...

2019 E63S bought from Mercedes Benz Croydon & brought back here to the Isle of Man just before all of the ferries were too crowded with bikes for the TT.
I bought it sight unseen, having had a 6.2 litre NA E63 Estate in the past and an AMG GTS with (I believe) essentially the same engine as the E63S and knowing that it came with a 2 year warranty from Mercedes.

Very happy with it so far!

Unfortunately it's only a WRX. They stopped making the STI on the previous model (bugeye). The wheels are genuine STI wheels but from a Forester Cross Sport S Edition so only 7 inches wide. I think they really set the car off nicely compared to the standard wheels. It also has STI suspension which is a bonus.

It did have a rear lip on the bumper but I removed it yesterday as I wasn't keen on it.

It's has a Kakimoto exhaust, STI suspension and HKS filter. Apart from that I can't see anything else.

Fully loaded with dogs, kids, & luggage today for a trip to lakes. Normal driving (I.e not trying to be especially economical) and managed 38.5mpg. Magic this thing.

I absolutely love the 3er estate, in my opinion the best balanced car in BMWs lineup.
How does it absolve the family duties with 2 children?

The second B7 RS4 avant I've owned and the first was the car I most regret selling. It shares garage space with a 458 spider and 9/10 times I enjoy driving the RS4 more, and point to point its much quicker over the local bumpy NSL roads and is just the right width to exploit them vs the fatter RS6. Big part of the charm is the manual gearbox and V8.

That Rs4 is lovely!

Side note, is there a Subaru Impreza left on the road which has the standard exhaust!?

Tell me about it. Its actually a genuine Subaru lip but I really don't like it. I'm sure some people like that style but it's not for me.
