They are on my radar as my next work car
Premium Plus spec with switchable exhaust
AWD and easily tuned to 440 ish BHP
I very much like ours. 90% or so of C63 performance but less to buy and run and still bloody quick. The popping and banging exhaust is highly amusing. Living in the sticks the 4wd will be a bonus over the 63 come winter too and it does make me smile that it's a nice q car as badging aside and maybe wheels and brake calipers for the keener observer it looks just like an AMG "line" C200d.Premium Plus spec with switchable exhaust

How much of an issue/problematic is this? Do they not use the same bits as an equivalent VAG product? Zippee said:

• 55 Chevy Nomad, basically stock bodied apart from plane bumpers front and rear (no over riders) plus a couple of bits of trim removed to clean things up. They look so good stock, Battery relocated to the rear of the car, mini-tubs to accommodate the rear wheels, custom panel work in the engine bay to clean things up.
• Chassis – Roadster Shop Fast Track with independent front and rear Suspension
• Engine – 383 Chevy with blower shop 6/71 blower running a Joe Blow low profile EFI fuel injector hat. The idea is to keep the engine under the bonnet, estimated 700 - 750hp if I can afford the good internal bits
• Gearbox – GM 4L70E strengthened to take the HP plus a Gear Vendors overdrive
• Wheels – Budnik Muroc IV SKO 8 x 18 on the front and 20 x 12 on the back running 285 and 325 30 series tyres
• Full custom interior
Details may change depending on budget

A picture from years ago, of my lovely first car, UrS6 4.2 manual. A car that's fast even by today's standards, and with a few subtle mods. It's still with me, albeit as a long time project. Wish I could keep it as it was though.

Very fast, too fast probably,
I bought a C7 RS6 4 months ago and that’s the conclusion i’m coming to. To the extent that I’m considering getting rid of it. Edited by Mr Gearchange on Thursday 23 May 21:19
