Looks great, one of the best suited colours for the C7 RS6 in my opinion.

Great colour.

Feel free to call me a heathen, but I’m actually quite looking forward to the new 5-Series Touring.
a) There are rumours of an M5 Touring
b) I think the “mildly fast” variant will have the 50e powertrain (currently installed in the X5 and 7 Series). So c490bhp, 4WD, and silent electric driving in town. Tempting.

Gave my E500 a proper clean on Saturday; hand wash, decontamination, clay bar, ceramic wax. Getting some new speakers fitted on Friday to go with the Android head unit and sub that went in last year. Another trip to France coming up soon.

It looks all the better for it! How's the sound?

Four up + a properly full boot to Le Mans and back from notts (about 1200 miles). Aircon, cruise and space with pace… (and about 23mpg 🤣)

Vastly better than the standard paper cones. And they'll get better when they bed in.

Half way home and giving them a good workout

Plus I got to ogle Rob's R8 V10 and fabulous R1. There's always interesting things going on there.

Do you have benchmarking tracks?

Looks menacing. I imagine folk pull over when you appear in their rear view?!

Not as fast as some on this thread but qualifies in my eyes. It monsters a trip to the alps with wife fast asleep in comfort.

Pretty close to perfect LM support bus too. Carrying BBQ, race awning and other camping detritus. Makes an ok noise too.

You need to be awake in the wet and cold as it bites back, which is why I love it.
Now debadged in stealth mode. The c220d badge was fooling no one!
Fast wagons are cool, best all rounder I’ve driven. No offence intended but I don’t want an SUV.
I kept toying with the idea of downpipe and map which takes these to 600 ish. Not sure where you would manage to get that down for long! I can count on one hand the times I’ve “needed” more grunt.
RIP v8 c63’s.

stage 1 map alone on those takes to around 625bhp. It's madness. Do it smile

I started with Donald Fagan's Nightfly. That was a reference disk (on vinyl) when I used to go to hifi shops in the 80's. Followed by a ton of other stuff. Some Blue Note tracks, some Incognito, Isaac Hayes, Chic, Floyd and Steely Dan. Then some of my favourite modern house stuff. All sorts, really. All sounded fantastic. Not quite as loud as the HK in my last car but sonically better. I'll take that.

Sounds like an optimistic dyno. Remaps is 580bhp-ish. Over 600bhp needs supporting modifications.

I 'just' have the remap and 580bhp plenty for me.

All quite friendly so far, although I’m not the average Audi wker sat on your rear bumper laugh More commonly I have hot hatches sat on mine.

I was pleased to find an untinkered, 1 owner, full main dealer history car as they’re getting rarer as prices come down.

It’s significantly faster, but so far in all other areas I miss the RS4. Definitely great to scratch an inch, but it won’t be with me long term.

That's lovely. Its a sad state of affairs though when the first thing that comes to my mind about the ownership experience is how much one of those special wheels would be to replace when a pothole inevitably makes its presence known.

Is this the car previously owned by a PH'er that posted about his car having the Brabus treatment in this very thread?
