Couldn't agree more. MPG doesn't concern me, the cost of damage does.

Is this the car previously owned by a PH'er that posted about his car having the Brabus treatment in this very thread?
I don't recall the 'distinctive' colours in the interior of the 800 that is so far winning this thread, but it's the same model.

I'm surprised that this remains limited to 186mph -- I would've thunk that it would be a suitable candidate for a 200mph+ vehicle, unless that would require special tyres?

After seeing that I started looking at others and see they offer a B900 model with a 4.5 V8, assuming some stroker kit of the normal V8? Can only imagine the humongous cost of one of those!
If my numbers come up I’d go for a B900 in a nice blue with silver wheels no badges ultimate stealth (kind of) daily.

Fastness is one thing, but I highly value the comfort of my 306bhp estate. Over long distances it's so important to want to jump into it the next day.

Very true, but then I have 900bhp so journeys take a third of the time hehe

First major clean of the new year. It’s been said before by many an Alpina owner but it really, really sucks doing the wheels.

The number of tasty estates in this thread is a treat. I'm missing these now among the sea of crossover SUVs. Also: the purple one, above, would look even better, if we could see a photo of it outside, by itself.

stage 1 map alone on those takes to around 625bhp. It's madness. Do it smile
Sounds like an optimistic dyno. Remaps is 580bhp-ish. Over 600bhp needs supporting modifications.

I 'just' have the remap and 580bhp plenty for me.
i was mistaken in thinking it was a w205. Anyway here you go

It’s not just the numbers though - it’s a completely different delivery. Do you have a before and after for normal every day driving ( ie without revving the nuts off it)?

Well without numbers what do you want me to say as it could only be qualitative. Ohhh it’s loads faster. Which it is. Does that work?

And still produce decent MPG when mapped.

Probably one for the bad parking thread but it swallowed all of the family, luggage and pram for a week at Center Parcs, beating the sat nav's arrival time as standard.

I get that these things are capable and that owners love them, but I just can’t get on with the exterior styling - the front and back ends just don’t match, esp in black, like it’s trying to be imposing (“Ooh, scary!) but looks a bit cartoonish…

They forgot to smoke the rear lights!

The dogs/kids in the back will need racing car restraints.

If Batman needed an estate car…

An awesome machine.

Do you think they’ll accept a W211 320 CDI estate as a trade in?

80 grand of depreciation in 11000 miles and the funny thing is the next owner would likely take the same hit again over the next 5 years.

Mental stuff.

More like £100k as Romans will be taking their pound of flesh too.
