2019 best performance tyres for wet & dry
Discussion
OK, same question as ever: what are the top two or top one tyre make for wet and dry braking and handling, disregarding comfort, rolling resistance, wear, cost etc?
Pirelli P Zero PZ4s?
Michelin PS4s?
Goodyear F1s?
Yokohamas of some sort?
Car: 2018 Subaru STI
Use: wet and dry summer/autumn fast road
Something to give a decidedly average driver (despite training) a the best chance of survival against adverse events...
Many thanks for your considered opinions act experience

Same car - 2017 Subaru WRX STi.
Could not wait to get rid of the factory fit Dunlops. Became very noisy after 20,000 miles even with plenty of tread left.
I went with the Goodyear Eagle 3. All 4 fitted at home for £360 by Tyres on the drive.
Ride is much improved and road noise levels much lower. Much more supple.
Grip is the same, I mean car never loses grip anyway.
I have a set of Nokian WR D4 for winter so the Goodyears are perfect for summer and are also excellent in the wet.
For me it was a choice between the Goodyears and the Michelin PS4. Don't think you can go wrong with either.

Price no object, All reviews favour the PS4 by a fair margin, on both wet and dry performance - The only time I've seen them beaten is by Conti's on a conti funded test () - They're also said to be the longest lasting.
AFAIK / IME they're perfectly fine for noise / fuel economy, better than my Yokohama V105s on the noise front by a good margin.
