I do like the evora design and get the link..... but I don’t think new owners are going to be getting asked how their new lotus drives!
I wonder if Geely are currently looking at the designs for the new Lotus and going... "It's a bit too Ferrari" smile

I'm biased (love the Evora), but I do think the Ferrari is the best looking new model they've had for a while.

I like it, the back looks a bit too American, and I'm not keen on the bit behind the cabin, but the fronts gorgeous and performance sounds nuts! Best thing though is that i had no idea it was coming! No teasing, and no long drawn out campaign!

Where are you supposed to drive something like this?
Indeed. It did cross my mind that if this is only available in LHD then joining a dual carriageway while sitting on the left side of a car with such poor rearward visibility is going to be an act of blind faith!

This looks brilliant and the petrol engine sounds like it might be grand too. But would it be better without the batteries?

I have a plug in hybrid. The petrol engine is adequate but sounds terrible. I drove a Volvo hybrid in a v90 recently and the engine sounded ok, better than my car but I couldn’t help but feel it should be different .

Will anyone ever plug this in? I have plugged mine in once. The rest of the time the petrol engine charges the batteries. I love the tech! I think electric can bring benefits for us petrol heads but it ain’t a green solution!

It looks very wide, to the point I questioned PH's photo uploads against ones on EVO's FB page thinking they were stretched.

Numbers and tech sound very impressive but it looks huge! Roads aren't getting wider yet cars get faster and bigger.

...not that I will have a problem of hustling a £500k Ferrari down a Welsh B road anytime soon.

This whole "article" reads as nothing more than a grovelling paid for advertisement...

... and I don't care, it sounds utterly incredible. I was just a child when the 200MPH barrier was broken by production cars, what a memorable gauntlet to throw down to anyone left who claims to produce the greatest production car.

Sorry, but if this is the new flagship car in the Ferrari lineup and it has a V8 engine, is this the end of regular series V12s? If yes why is it not mentioned anywhere in this article?

It’s a Ferrari so I love it.
How can an adult love every inanimate object manufactured by a corporation unconditionally?

That's embarrassing.

And I quite like it, even though it is a bit of a variation on a theme.

All release announcements at this stage are light rewording of the press releases, but mercifully with most of the corporate toss thrown away.

Looks like an amazing car, can't imagine what >500hp/ton feels like.

That styling - inside and out - is just a mess. The exterior looks like a horribly over-styled version of the infinitely prettier J50, and if I could afford a Ferrari I'd take one of the current "dated" interiors every day of the week.

The stupid horsepower pissing contest is still stupid too (same applies to that Brabus elephant that's currently on the PH front page). It's impressive, but would this be any worse if it "only" had 500bhp?

It's not as fussy as the current models so that's that's better, but what a dramatic departure from traditional ferrari design. Sure to cause controversy like the Enzo did back in the days.
