Hoping to pop along to this. It’ll be my first SS!

Just mulling over whether I can get there, do a couple of laps, and get home on one charge. And without breaking the car.

Apologies if I wasn't clear enough, but access to the circuit will only be allowed with one of our passes on Saturday (unless you're going on track). Sorry for any confusion.
No problem Ben, thanks for clearing things up smile

I don't think I've ever seen a Tesla on track before! You've got to do it. You're most welcome to charge it in our garage afterwards if that helps, although will only have standard 3-pin sockets.

To be honest I'd probably be ok for charge. There's a Supercharger at the Park Royal Hotel which is about 30 miles away.

The first time I went to Oulton I took a Mini GP (R53). The engine mount failed, which in turn broke the cat on the exhaust.

The second time I took an E92 M3. I boiled the brake fluid.

Third time's the charm? Proper write-off? laugh

That's cutting it a bit fine, isn't it? Hoping no-one has a printer problem on Friday.

Argh just remembered that this is Saturday rather than Sunday. I assume I will be ok to turn up at 11ish? I'm only going to be watching rather than going on track so hoping that will be fine.

Norbury from what I have read you can’t just turn up. Bit of a pain in the arse really as a normal track day at oulton you can just turn up and watch. Don’t understand why this is different

I won't be just turning up, I'm on the list as an attendee like it's always been with every other SS. I'm just gonna be a bit late that's all. I'm 99% sure it won't be a drama as I'm on the list and will have my pass printed out but I just thought I would check out of courtesy.

Are bikes welcome at a SS? Fancy a run out and the weather looks good.

Of course, you can come and go as you please all day! As long as you're signed up and have a pass wink

Awesome, can I grab a passenger ride please?! Very tempted by one of these and would love to see what it's like.

I'll have a word with whoever's on the gate, make sure they turn you away.

Can't go now as O/H unwell; she has precedence, even over car meets.

are we meant to display the piston heads windscreen badge if we are going on track, or is that just for the meet up ?

Just for the meet – MSV should have sent you a separate pass for entry if you're going on track.

Hi

Daft question (which may have already been covered in the thread - sorry)

When do the windscreen badges get issued ?
