Is there a readers cars thread?

Your garage suggests you like JLR a little bit hehe
That’s fair. I’m quite JLR heavy at the moment. Matter of fact, I sold the XJ today. Something else, non JLR coming next week...

Really cool to see an owner chip in.
Enjoy the delivery of your new car!

Erm, I did and have met a good number of other owners too.
I’m guessing you only need a small car park for the owners meet up

There are occasional mutterings of either an Ingenium straight-6 or some kind of amusing hybrid, but who knows biggrin

There is a straight 6 ingenium with electrically powered super charger.

wasn't on my radar at all when launched, but I saw one close up recently and had a chat with a SVO engineer and I have to say it looked/sounded pretty trick. they had 15 odd cars at the time (February '19) built but unsold in various colours, so I assume these are the same cars with the stickers peeled off and replacement boot lids. fair game to Jaguar, they need to shift them, but I suspect there is simply no more demand currently at this price point. sad, but that's how it seems to me. hopefully I am wrong and they find buyers, if circumstances were different I'd make a cheeky bid on a BRG one, but I need to sell not buy metal currently.

Goodness me Jaguar just get on an make a relatively accessible XE-R will you! The Brand needs some magic more than ever after all. No 6-cylinder or even 8-cylinder (run out special) petrol models in your XE/XF range is tragic and goes against what to me Jaguar is about.

Much nicer. The rear wing was the one thing that spoilt the looks of it for me.

Why are British companies so obsessed with copying zee Germans and Porsche?

First Aston Martin was crying they couldn't use the GT3 name.
Now Jaguar with the Touring

Can we get some creativity please?

On topic ... epic car.

Is it just me that thinks if they were £99,990 they’d sell out 500 easily ?

The full fat one is £150k so this will be what, £120k? Not worth it when a M5 Comp is less than £100k and driven on the correct side of the road

No it will be the same price with or without wing.

If you want just 2 seats then add £10k

And that's the problem for me - nice idea, just too expensive. I get the fact that everything is specialist/hand-made etc, but that doesn't make it any better. And it's LHD. And did I mention the price?

You could get the same quality of performance, handling, braking ... and almost certainly enjoyment ..... by selecting either an M5 or and E63S. Different cars, different feel, but just as good. When you look at the price differential, there's no contest in my mind. Obviously a Jaguar fetishist would only buy a Jag, but judging by the fact that this (very) limited run still hasn't sold out, there are not so very many of these.
