RE: The ?30k V8 F-Type: Spotted
Discussion
I've always loved these and although I prefer the way the Coupe looks the Roadster will be great for the added noise/wind in the hair experience.
I get torn with the V8 though because it is my favourite engine but its mated to an auto, so I think I'd compromise and seek out a V6S with the manual gearbox instead.

Perfect for me.
One of the few cars that I've promised myself I'll own one day.
I'll take mine in Red with a black interior or dark blue with tan please. I'm sure I can squeeze enough into the boot for two people on a 10 day holiday, right?
No way. A couple of briefcases at best. Stupid sized boot given the bulk of the car & so much space wasted by chunky seats, not even storage space behind the seats. No way a grand tourer, just something for the Sunday pub run. One of the few cars that I've promised myself I'll own one day.

All black a bit depressing even if the price isn't.

Are a couple of evoques "all JLR stuff"? Also, Evoques are D8 platform, predominantly steel. This is D2a, almost entirely aluminium, and similar to the XK platform which has no such issues.
Fair enough.Anyway..why would you bother? It's just rusty suspension components, any UK car over 3years would look the same, who would care ref the underside cosmetics..
WHAT! That's incredible value. Beautiful, almost too pretty but the V8 compensates for any masculinity issues better than the AMG SLK 55 managed somehow. Have owned a C55 AMG estate and an XFR, which was trouble free, My mates F-Type has caused him a little bother, which is a shame. I adored my XFR but more money for less seats/doors in my case didn't make sense and I sold at the right time. Generally undrstressed, I can't speak of the chassis but it's only that I'm so used to the shape now that the lust has worn off. It's a better car than a similar aged Aston V8, better looking and more powerful, build quilty imo also better, bit less badge is all. Sub 30k for one of the top 10 contemporary (subjective obs) best looking cars on the road with a proper sonorous V8. Surely these have bottomed out, maybe not. Love em. Next proper money I spend on a car will probably be on an R8 V10 convertible for 20k moe (not for a couple of year when doors and seats matterbless) than this and it does make me wonder.

That's purely surface corrosion which would just wire brush off.

My 14 year old BMW doesn't look like this.Anyway..why would you bother? It's just rusty suspension components, any UK car over 3years would look the same, who would care ref the underside cosmetics..
Have a 2014 Evoque. Reckon this will wire brush off as well?

Much prefer the coupe to the roadster. V6 is plenty. These things look exceptional especially from the rear 3/4. A baby Aston for buttons
Let's not forget what they sound like
Coupe does look very special - oddly I don’t usually like white cars but that looks really good. Let's not forget what they sound like

If I bought one a lovely sports car I’d have to go for the V8 supercharged beast over the v6 - that’s just me as I like V8 and I’d want the highest performance OEM that was OEM.
Since I saw the first F-Types on social media back in 2013, it was one of those cars I just had to own. Noisy fker with a bit of power to boot.
I'm the very proud owner of a V8 F-Type. It's everything I wanted it to be.
It's quite unreliable, but I think a lot of people, even those on PH, dismiss the roots of the car. I appreciate this will be controversial, but I see it as a modern TVR. It's British, got some grunt, fking noisy, backfires more than your favourite political party, and has character (i.e. st goes wrong).
I love it, as it's under warranty. I've never driven something so loud, from the factory. I'd happily invite anybody to come for a spin to see just how much fun you can have with a noisy car within the speed limits, and then on track where you can enjoy nigh-on 500bhp.
Edit: I've had an M6, a 911, a Vantage, a T350C, etc but the Jag is currently #1 for smiles per mile.
