There's one of these almost the same as listed in the article - also 2013/13 with 70k miles on Autotrader for £26.5k. They do look good value!
Well other than the missing hundred or so horses "almost the same"!!
Ah yes, sorry you’re right. That’s the 3.0.

The interiors of recent Jaguars have dated horribly. The plastics are shiny and cheap. Buttons look like something of a Honda MPV. The Interior of the original XK8 despite being about 20 years older looks much much nicer.

Still think of them as a GT rather than a sports car. Drove a v8 coupe and whilst gorgeous, fast, etc. it did feel very big and heavy. If that’s what you want then it’s great value but I like a little more agility and precision myself.
That’s the issue I have with these. It’s a GT but without a boot to do a Grand Tour.

Quite happy to forego storage on a sports car like my old exige, but if I am to compromise on performance by buying a GT, I want the associated benefits of driving a GT.

I do think these are stunning cars and represent amazing value all things considered. I considered moving from my vantage into one, but the touring inability put me off.

I know you’d have to pay a little bit more for one and that it’s a 4 cylinder but I’d take a 718 Boxster over one of these any day.
Why? You must be a crazy person.

Perfect for me.

One of the few cars that I've promised myself I'll own one day.

I'll take mine in Red with a black interior or dark blue with tan please. I'm sure I can squeeze enough into the boot for two people on a 10 day holiday, right?
No way. A couple of briefcases at best. Stupid sized boot given the bulk of the car & so much space wasted by chunky seats, not even storage space behind the seats. No way a grand tourer, just something for the Sunday pub run.
All black a bit depressing even if the price isn't.
Even squishy bags, for a week? TBH, If I do get one, it'll be a daily. Given I live in Lancashire, the number of days I can put the roof down are minimal, so a coupe might not be the worst....

Having owned a 2017 V8R awd convertible as a daily for over a year, two briefcases is bks. Granted the boot is a funny shape but if you pack carefully with squishy bags you could easily get a fortnites luggage in. I've used it for the weekly shop, trips to the dump etc. no problem. Plus the seats got considerably slimmer in the 2017 facelift so more cabin room. Convertible is definitely the one to go for, more of that lovely engine noise plus the roof is very solid so you could be in a coupe when it's up. (unlike my two previous boxsters which squeaked like a nest of mice)
I recently had the two year service and they sent me a video of the underside and it looked pristine to me. Granted I've only owned it for a year but nothing has gone wrong unlike the two boxsters I owned previously which had all sorts of issues with chocolate suspension components (new front top mounts after two and a bit years!) and speakers made of tissue paper.
Every drive is an occasion, the looks, noise and performance are awesome and I like the fact you don't see that many on the road. I paid 68k at one year old for a car that was 105k new and thought I got a good deal, at 30K it's a steal and I can't see them dropping much further than that.

I like these. I think they’re pretty good looking and they make a great noise. They manage to be a lot less pipe and slippers than mos of the other Jags.

Great looking cars, still cause me to turn my head when I see one. V8 too, what's not to like!
