That rear end looks like it should be on a VW saloon.....which I guess it is really.....

I find the new Bentleys rather vulgar these days, they’ve lost their class obviously IMHO

The interior is on another level to the competition. Not a fan of wood but that looks stunning

I would agree in general, Bentley are doing lovely interiors, but did you see the horrible burgandy interior in the Bentayga reviewed by Mr JWW
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3wsg6JcuGYvomit

That is the worst twin-rear seat I think I've seen- it's like they forgot to fit the rear centre console.

Luxury armrest thingy will probably be an option.
I suspect the bit in the middle between the seats will fold down to give a nice arm rest, as it did in my old 7 series. But yes, I expect there'll be a nice centre console option if one so desires.

Much like and S class or 7 I’m sure there is a very long and expensive options list if you want to go that way.

I think it looks brilliant. The difference for me between this and a Mulsanne was that you would probably drive one of these yourself, treating it as a normal family saloon. Where as the Mulsanne you are sort of meant to have a driver.

That side profile is absolutely fantastic!

Interior fab as you'd expect from Bentley.

If wealth ever comes my direction the first car dealers door I'll be knocking on is Bentley, such beautifully crafted machines I'd very much like to own one.

That's as pretty as the coupe...more than can be said for the first generation. I really like it.

By the time I could afford a used one it will be too old to be viable unfortunately.

Dear All Car Makers, please stop, cease and desist with this ridiculous oversized grille fetish. It’s enough to make me want to buy a Tesla (with no fkin grille). And that from a confirmed lover of V8s...

The grille is an easy fix, I suppose they have reserved the traditional mesh varaint for some “special” version or an option. Well designed machine!

Are you willing to spend £10k annually to drive it. Have a look at the previous model 'running costs' on these boards. hehe
Since £10K is likely pocket change to many who wold be ordering them I doubt it's an issue biggrin
I’m referencing the chap who said he will buy one in 10 years for peanuts. New they are 317p per mile all in.

Ah, it's the same as an A8? Please point me in the direction of the Audi A8 which has the same interior, wheels, suspension, brakes and, heck, even something so meaningless as a 635bhp engine....the most powerful A8 you can get in petrol-guise is 340bhp.

Are you suggesting that there is no difference between this and an A8? I can't imagine you are, because that'd be incredibly stupid for anyone remotely into cars, right? Or for someone to get confused between "platform sharing" and "the same"....

Anyway, I really like that apart from the grill. Interior looks bang on

Love that. And love the new Conti. I travel to near Crewe a few days a month and I see them on their test route around Church Minshull. Lovely looking cars, great improvement and if I ever do really well I will get one.

I wonder what the Cullinan design team think when they look at the other cars in the Bentley and Rolls line up? Does anyone know if they got sacked for that?

Presumably not for a few logical (sorry) reasons.

1 - If the company thought that it was a poor design, they wouldn't have given the current design the green light....you do realise that the designers have to get their work signed off before it is actually built, right?

2 - I have a friend who works at Rolls-Royce and says it's selling really well which brings me to point 3

3 - reports suggest RR are actually struggling to keep up with the demand of them

So, whilst I think it's not a good looking thing, it doesn't seem like it's been a failure so bad it warrants several people to get sacked, judging by how sales are going (ultimately, how it should be judged, I guess).

Indeed.

Vertical bars, not the traditional Bentley diagonal mesh?
