You've just posted 2 somewhat different interior shots up, I'm not sure I see your point?
Opinions are subjective.

To me it looks like they’ve borrowed heavily from the i3 cabin layout,
Which would be no suprise given it was benchmarked against the Bmw
But normally I’d credit Honda with the flair and creativity to go their own way.

Uses existing infrastructure to deliver power. There is a QR code above each plug to help you log into your account and pay for the charging.

ETA urgh sorry about the pic rotation...
Hi

I wouldn't have thought the existing lamp post cabling would be sufficient to run vehicle charging points?

Nope, they’ve ruined it for me, the concept looked great but in making it ready for production they’ve lost about 90% of what made it look so attractive. It just looks like a nondescript blob now.

Really? Aside the Honda has 2 screens on the dash as opposed to 1, it has a bigger binnacle/screen above the steering wheel, the centre console and around the air vents is totally different, the angles/shapes of the BMW dash are totally different, even looking to the left of the steering wheel, notice how the dash and vents are very angular.....they're very different IMO. Most dashboard layouts are fairly similar in the sense you have a steering wheel, a centre console and some air vents, maybe the odd screen etc.....

What specifically do you think looks "borrowed"?

I actually quite like this, I don't know why I do, but I do.

How does the lamppost charging thing work? We have fifty houses in our road and seven lampposts, One of which is outside my house does that mean I wouldn’t be able to park there as I’d be blocking the charger?

I respect your opinion.
To me they’ve copied a lot of interior cues.

Side mirrors are an interesting idea too, using cameras really cleans up the look of the car... how long before this catches on to the mainstream cars?
Surely they won't miss an opportunity to make cars EVEN MORE MASSIVE.

Love the look of these! Production design is very close to that of the concept if anything proportionally it look even better!

Not sure how anyone can see the interior as even similar to the i3.

Can you point out any specifics? I don’t have an eye for design detail.

If you colour code the bottom panels and swapped in a pair of deep dish wheels you'd be a squint away from the concept. It's a shame that the brow over the lights has been lost and that the rings are now a smaller diameter as I think it was those features that gave it a far less cutesy look and they're not so easy to change.

Front of it looks wicked, the rear of it looks wicked, but the last third of the car just screams Skoda Fabia to me.

I'd love for those wheels to make it to production though, from the concept, as they look marvellous.

£35k for a 125 mile range is too much, especially for a Honda.

I remember reading years ago that these skateboard style electric chassis would allow manufacturers to produce 'drop on' body styles at relatively low cost. How much fun of a laugh would a simple two seat roadster be with this tech? A modern Beat has to be in the pipeline!

Nothing like each other.

Honda is better.. and should be as it's a lot more recent.

Don’t know where it works elsewhere, but on my street there aren’t any individually marked bays, just a parking lane stretching down both sides of the street and about 7 lamp posts with sockets. I haven’t seen anyone using them yet so just normal cars parked next to them, but I suppose if the council see a significant up take in their usage they would mark off bays for them.

Will the production version actually come with cameras/screens but no actual door mirrors?
