BBR has been doing this sort of package, all the way up to and beyond 300 brake now for years. Not sure why its not been mentioned before. I think 250 ish n/a would be lovely in one of these. But like others have said, prefer the looks of the s2k, theyre just too girly for bloke, imo.

I’ve been toying with picking up one of the few remaining VX220T’s, as I used to own one, or an Elise.

However, since seeing a lovely clean ND soft-top a couple of months ago I’ve decided to spend half the price of the Elise on a nearly new ND 184 soft-top instead.

I always considered the older MX5’s as a bit hairdresser too but the current model just doesn’t tick that box IMO.

I’ll either pick up one with better suspension or sort it out myself, but I’m not sure it needs the BBR treatment unless you plan on tracking it. It’s almost the most fun you can have without crossing into license losing speeds on the road.

1. Stability control unlikely to save you or solve the issue.
2. Motorways have a 70mph limit, WTF are you doing 100mph+ on one?
3. Lift off Oversteer affects FWD and even AWD cars too
4. Lifting off at speed on a curve is driver error
This is a weapons grade keyboard warrior response. Do you ever cam up your white hat?
