The brackets are for the standard R. Can't believe an extra 60bhp takes the 0 60 down to 3.7 though. A little optimistic!
Yeah if that get's replicated by any road testers / reviewers I'll eat my hat.
Surely 360 hp can't move 1483 kg to 60 in 3.7 can it ?

I don’t like the wheels much either (well I do but not on such an angular car), but they are still many times better than the standard R wheels offered by VW? One of the letdowns of the R. 19’s were OK from memory.

I’ve seen a standard car record a 4.3 seconds to 62mph time. Still over half a second less with 50hp more seems ambitious.

Anyone know if there is a pic of the dsg paddles on the wheel? Didn't know you could get replacement ones. Are there better alternatives?

Shame no body likes the wheels. I have a set of Oz futura in my garage of a similar style and I was hoping when I saw the pics they had come back into fashion!

Oh well the wait continues...

An understated weapon without doubt. Perhaps not exciting enough for some but in the real world a very capable car indeed.

And I love the wheels. Reminds me of the Hirsch items offered on Saabs back in the day.

Lose the side stickers though smile

I’d pick the tastiest hat you’ve got in readiness

Sub 4 is standard fare for mapped R S3

390bhp can move a 1500kg TT to 60 in 3.6 ....with 2 people on board and half a tank of fuel so I reckon it could be possible

And yet, it's still just the sum of its parts. Will be a great story in the office though biggrin

Bit controversial here but why do I see 99% of Golf R's on the road being driven in well lets say a rather 'carefree' manner to be kind, think the last thing they need is more power!

Black windows, chav wheels, decals, council white. Dreadful.

When 'tuner' decals are done properly they can look quite smart no?

Those wheels are rank. The other options on the website are much nicer and suit the Golf better.

You don't notice the 99% being driven normally, so you assume the ones going like idiots are all the ones you see. Confirmation bias.

My R dogbus rarely sees over 3000rpm because I've always got the puppy in the back.
