I had a 9-5 Vector Estate I ran as a shed for a while (literally I stored my bike and tools in it), I hammered the poor thing everywhere. I sold it with no MOT, covered in tree sap for the price I paid for it. It was a quirky old hearse.

The one in the link above though is weirdly tempting.
The TX & Carlsson’s will always fetch a higher price, especially the Carlsson. I’d love one but the Hadlex puts me off so I’ll stick to 2wd and buy another cheap Aero and get the thing flying again, just need to swap all my go faster bits over from the dead one smile

The V6 is a monster after some tuning, it’s very tame standard.

The early Aero’s (2005) can be had for a couple grand now, even the later ones are only £4-5k for a good one. Remap, decent pads, Eibachs/B8’s and your set.

I’ve got these all saved in Autocar now so we will see just how desirable they are how many weeks and if price changes.
You seem rather odd.
If you've only been here 14 months you've missed a whole lot more Welshbeef "oddness".....biglaugh

Search the legendary threads section ,top of the lounge forum.
Wow. Quite the attention seeker.

I thought he was a little odd because of his obsession about Saab prices but what I've just read on the legendary threads you pointed me towards is a whole other level of weirdness.

Why on earth do people do things like that?

The Aero shares the same engine/box as the Vectra VXR, clutch/flywheel interchangeable, I had a Vec clutch copied & rebuilt by CG Motorsport for mine with their 777 kit. The Vec can suffer with timing chain problems, not as much in the Saab’s V6 but a couple have had issues.

Normal things to go on these are the coils especially after a remap.

The TX shares the same clutch/box as the Insignia VXR, the Insignia VXR also runs a different cam. Carlsson was auto only.
