THIS! Exactly, you'll need some kind of crevice scraping implement to remove the build up of crud and moss that will accumulate down there.

Oh my, what are they doing with those wheel arches (are they wheel arches?)?

Mostly slices of cyclists backsides, as you carve through traffic in an inner-city

like that they kept the mad arches from the concept. This will be shockingly expensive though id bet frown

I’ll have a rally version of the big ‘un please. Sounds pretty fun with the anti-lag system next to being well chuckable.

Nothing yet has prised me from my direct from factory R56 JCW bought new 7 yrs ago. I did try a GP2 but no rear seats was not feasible.

It has its faults, but goes like stink and handles well. For me that's all that matters!
And just don't like third gen. models. Proportions nowhere near as good earlier gen.

Civic Type R, you get 2 extra doors and rear seats, quicker than everything in question and much cheaper

... but the Type R looks like it was designed and made in a Chinese toy factory...

Hmmmm, not sure about that myself. It’ll be stonkingly fast but it’ll be disgustingly expensive and ugly looking at that.

We had an F56 Cooper for three years, which whilst not as pretty as the earlier cars is better looking than the S with its funny snorkels. Objectively it’s a better car than the R53 era cars I owned but it seemed to do very little for me. The steering was lifeless and fed back very little as to what was happening - I much preferred the steering in my vRS. The Union Jack lights though killed the LCI cars for me; they’re bloody awful.

Looks are subjective and the styling on the Civic is definitely divisive however that was one of the USP’s for me, I wanted something that stands out and looks the part, S3’s, Golf R’s and M140i’s all look too ordinary for me, don’t get me started on the Seats, absolutely nothing about them.

I’ve received nothing but positivity on my Civic, everyone stops and looks, there are people who clearly know nothing about cars asking me if it’s fast and what the engine is, ‘how fast does it go’ is the usual question, that’s how I know someone isn’t a petrol head.

I think the ordinary civic is hideous and I’m glad they put some big wheels on it with a wing and the wider body kit, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought it.

The Mini you seem to prefer also has the wider arches and the wing, only difference is, it’ll be slower, more expensive, won’t have rear seats and will have an extremely basic interior as everything’s an option. I had a 68 plate Cooper S as a courtesy car and it didn’t even have the sport mode, that was an option.

What car / model have they robbed the engine from? Big step up from previous gen isn't it so presumably will be a hoot to drive.

Shares the same engine with the new 300hp Clubman and MINI Suv thingy as well as the new M135i.

Yes and it is the same B48 engine that is in the Mini Cooper S but with beefier internals and a larger turbo. It makes me feel a little hard done to with only 189bhp in mine!! hehe

A tuning box here I come! driving

I think that power suits the Mini perfectly, feels a lot quicker than it is and you can properly thrash first and second gear without worrying about your licence!

Yes and I do agree with that smile and it is good to have a car that you can really use/enjoy pretty much all of the performance for most of the time. I guess that the Mini has always been about the corners and not outright speed anyway.

I will leave it alone I reckon and I've got my 370Z with over 330bhp for my straight line thrills that I've always enjoyed, but I just wished that the 370Z weighed the same as the Mini though and that would make it a really great car for sure! biggrin

My 2016 F57 JCW was taken to over 300hp with just a remap, on the stock JCW brakes and suspension, and it was fine.

This will take it through the front wheels without an issue, especially with wider stickier tyres on.

They have embossed the ring time on the dash. My dealer doesn't know anymore yet but says the car will be at FOS with a bit more info. Not sure what I'll do if it's 4wd and auto, probably keep the Challenge.

It's front wheel drive and auto only - that has been confirmed on other news outlets.
