I love how fun American cars like this are, they make European super saloons seem bland and anodyne. Yes, an M5 will be quicker round a track and have a better interior, but imagine the event every trip into town would feel in this.
I agree entirely, I'm finding myself more and more drawn to the yank stuff as all the euro marques in my opinion seem to have lost thier edge and TBH, just feel to me like they're too serious and up their own arses.I've been driving a V8 Mustang for the last couple of years and it's such a breath of fresh air, as it's got bucket loads of character instead of a million different driving modes.
Cheap interiors are instantly forgotten when you're grinning ear to ear because you're having so much fun.

I completely agree. I find the simplicity of the American stuff a breath of fresh air to the pointless tech laden BMW/Audi approach. I've been driving a V8 Mustang for the last couple of years and it's such a breath of fresh air, as it's got bucket loads of character instead of a million different driving modes.

I'm thinking the unfortunately named R/T 'Scat pack' with 485bhp for $40,000 would make a good replacement school run car though....
They're not really $40,000 though. By the time you've added sales tax, destination charges, dealer fees, title and tag fees - and gas-guzzler tax, they end-up being somewhat more than $40kMatt Harper said:

Tell me about it. Whilst I only pay delivery (to Miami), I still have to pay shipping to the Caribbean and 40%+ import tax! That's hardly Dodge's fault though! The sticker price is less of a mockery than Telsa's which includes ''expected fuel savings for the first 3 years'', seriously, WTF?Murphy16 said:
