A totally legitimate UK Number with correct spacing, but the plate itself does not comply.

This reminds me... back in 1997ish there was a chap at work called Rupi. He splashed out on "RUP1 55", which he was very proud of. He wasn't so impressed when we pointed out that it looked more like "R U P155" in our heads!

Chavs invariably indulge their delusions of grandeur with tat such as fake plates, fake watches, fake clothes and fake exhaust pops and bangs.

Why the rest of the world frequently pours scornfull derision on their pretentious aspirations is entirely beyond their comprehension.

In fairness, the photo resolution isn't good enough to even read the "Land Rover" text on the green oval badge.. Which is significantly larger than the BS and legal markings on plates. Some plates have the legal bits in a non-reflective shade of yellow/white so they're still there, present and correct but just not as visible as black legal markings. I know that Halfords used to do this, as many years ago they made me up a plate with the legal bits there and clearly visible up close, but didn't appear obvious from a distance. It may well be that if the photo was higher resolution, we'd be able to pick out the legal bits.

yes
Exactly the response I had in mind but couldn't be bothered to respond with. As an example, see my completely legal plate below.

yes Fkuck the law plate = fkuck the law attitude.

No surprise there. Its always about far more than just a illegal numberplate.

Parked on Edinburgh Castle Esplanade. I really like these cars and the matte paint finished looked great in my opinion, but the car is spoiled by this rubbish plate. Bonus chav point for the raised lettering.

I suspect it might belong to one of the Gold brothers who own a number of tartan tat shops in the city.

They’re called gel plates apparently. Gaining popularity amongst the chav cognoscenti I believe biggrin
