I've been seeing this so much recently, looks like an actual nice plate from afar.
That's exactly what Chavplaters with illegally formatted plates want you to think of course.

Fortunately a second glance invariably confirms the gulf of difference between only pretending to have a nice plate and actually having a nice plate.

Possibly I’m a bit slow but I can’t actually see the purpose of re-formatting that plate anyway - what is it trying to say?

Probably JW are his/her initials and S90 would be a round number signifying nothing.
Some people don't have a middle name.

L90NG X - BMW 520. Y 5HAJ - BMW 520.

MH 11MAR - Honda Civic.

A CHART - Discovery, which obviously should be AC11 ART, but people love a silly dot and crap spacing.

AJ1:1YYY - Audi TT with the plate basically how I've put it to read as AJAYYY rolleyes

The purpose is entirely aspirational.

The Platee has re-formatted an ordinary everyday plate in an attempt to create an impression it's a nice valuable one. That's all about pretending to have something you don't in an attempt to enhance your status among those who consider such things important, and is no different to anybody flaunting a fake prestige brand watch or fake designer labels or sticking a AMG or M badge from ebay on the back of a wheezy base 4 cylinder diesel for the purpose of making themselves appear more wealthy/succesfull/important/better hung or Powerfully Built than they actually are.

It's quite risible really.

Brilliant... I'm going to use that one for the comments section of the Daily Fail. Normally I just say "I think your keyboard is broken, some of the keys aren't working" - but yours is better. Thank you.

That's remarkably generous, thank you. thumbup

More punctuation marks than I already have really won't be necessary though. I prefer a very economical and austere style rather than following the modern trend of scattering punctuation around every sentence like confetti in a windy churchyard and only use it where it's absolutely essential.

Agree with Steve or disagree, after that, you can’t dispute his moxie.

Less is more.

I'll pull him up when he starts following the laughable trend that so many middle aged blokes on forums have done in order to appear edgy and down with the kids - when in fact it makes them look like bellends.

Gotten (acquired)

Swapped out (replaced)

These are the written and verbal equivalents of wearing trainers your 19 year old Son might choose.
