Indeedy it is.

Anybody old enough to remember when Mercedes was the marque of choice for respectable middle class professional people who recognised the virtue of quality over quantity and for whom a Jaguar was far too Arthur Daley and a BMW was much too Barret Executive new build estate? biggrin

They've conquered the scum/hatchback market nicely and made loadsamoney. It's just badges on cars now.

Berks in Mercs.

Try as I may, I just can’t understand the mentality of displaying something aggressive on a number plate. What is going on in their heads. That ones a five grand fine when I come into power.

I couldn't bring myself to drive that, the acid green wrap is one thing but the plate as well, calling people dheads, really ?

Imagine turning up at a smart hotel in that, or anywhere for that matter, going to the plate shop and explaining how you want it spacing so it says U Dick Head.

It always seems counter-productive, to me, to make a prestige marque "affordable" and then drag in all the badge chavs to pull down your prestige to basement levels.

That is an embarrassing level of shame for just one car.

Unless he has a disc-shaped head.

It’s like those idiots who get f ck off tattooed on their foreheads and then go to the dentist. This shouldn’t hurt too much sir. Ha hah ha!!!

I know they never visit dentists but they’ll come across a doctor, medic, fireman sooner or later in their horrible little lives.

There arent that many people with that on their forehead but seem to be a fair few insulting numberplates, be funny if the former stopped and dragged the latter out of his (bound to be a bloke) and asked them if they were calling him a dhead biggrin

I.e. proper nucking futter vs lacking a bit of class.

That said, some girls on the M Lite group have "FU" numberplates.

Mine is entirely standard.

Me neither. I bet it's driven by a complete t0sser. The colour of the wrap looks awful, as do those tinted rear lights. What is this 1995 ? Then you spot the number plate.
I doubt anyone apart from a chavvy scrote would think it was good. All of it is hideous.

Do people just buy plates that can sort of "spell" a word, any word and buy it, then learnt to love whatever the plate supposedly represents ?

"F31 TCH" for example, sort of makes a word, and its not an old film about a journalist starring Chevy Chase.
