I don't get it confused both are perfectly legal ? The second one's a Jersey plate.

I did wonder. The first one does not have the legal requirements for a plate. Where it was made etc. It was also smaller than it should be. Size of letters and numbers on the plate. Difficult to tell from the photo.

I did not realise the second one was a Jersey plate. getmecoat

The mouth breathers of the Essex Badlands are always a reliable indicator of what's new rather than what's best and I too have noticed a plethora of these 3D plates suddenly appearing on the cars of the lower orders that swarm about this most charming of counties.

Still that's some improvement on not displaying a front plate at all, which was de rigueur among the hard of thinking around here until recently.

Assuming that’s PA55 YET, which does relate to a red fiesta diesel, that’s not illegal??

Ok plate police since you lot have ruined my enjoyment of at least 2 of my numberplates I thought I’d ask the question here:

My Sunbeam Lotus displays XTC11V - a plate put on it by previous owner for sentimental reasons due to him previously owning XTC124V back in the day.

I’m considering taking the XTC plate off and replacing it with the cars original “W” reg. What do the panel think?

PS I had a couple of plates like F4 OJU and C7 TJU mis spaced to read F40 JU (on a Ferrari but sadly not an F40!) and C7T JU (on a 7) but now I look at them and think “Chav” thanks to this thread!!!

No like I specified, it is displayed as PASS YET not PA55 YET.

So illegal butchering by a 'professional' scratchchin driving instructor in order to promote business.

Does beg the question if said professional scratchchin instructor is prepared to break the law with his number plate, what other illegal activities is he/she guilty of I wonder.
