I don't get the animosity. If someone wants to look a knob surely that's up to them?
I assume those of you ridiculing some of these plates also think people in shellsuits, or trainspotters, or military re-enactment enthusiasts, or goths etc etc etc are knobs too, but you don't start a thread with pictures of them?

Hear hear. Life's too short to get incessantly wound up by a misspaced bolt or crap font on a number plate. Just chuckle to yourself, move along, and worry only about things which are in your control.I assume those of you ridiculing some of these plates also think people in shellsuits, or trainspotters, or military re-enactment enthusiasts, or goths etc etc etc are knobs too, but you don't start a thread with pictures of them?

I’m not sure if there is much animosity from the majority of posters, mostly amusement and slow head-shakes; the animosity comes from people trying to defend their plates. Probably.I assume those of you ridiculing some of these plates also think people in shellsuits, or trainspotters, or military re-enactment enthusiasts, or goths etc etc etc are knobs too, but you don't start a thread with pictures of them?

I suspect most of them would too stupid to engage in an actual conversation, let alone the mental faculties to understand why these plates are so ridiculed.
I'm convinced you'd have to be operating at a pretty spectacular level of either arrogance or stupidity not to see how faffing about with an illegal number plate and are deluded enough to think it makes you look good whenever you do isn't egotistical and pretentious and aspirational. It amuses me no end when people jump in to defend them without realising they're invariably shooting themselves in the foot by doing so.

Life would be a bit more mundane without the knuckle draggers It amuses me no end when people jump in to defend them without realising they're invariably shooting themselves in the foot by doing so.

K14 RKW spaced as K14RK W on a BMW 116.
When i pulled up behind it at the M3 J4 London bound r/bout it looked like there was some text along the bottom of the plate about "Klark"
Apart from the plate, they get bonus points for the eBay special "M" badge stuck on the tailgate and their general st, but typical BMW 1 series, level of driving on the A331 including tailgating a car in front of them in a 50 limit (when it was doing the speed limit and wouldn't have been able to go any faster as there were a string of cars in front), jinking agressively between both lanes in an attempt to see if they could "make progress" and best of all, deciding to use the right turn only lane, that keeps you on the A331, to cut across the other 2 other lanes of cars to the left of them so that they could join the M3 London bound
