Not just you. The proud owner has deciphered that plate by adding her name underneath, lest you think she's called...

Ah got it. It even took a few seconds to work it out given the answer.

I reckon it could be a new round on Only Connect.

Them having to say what it is / explain it is utterly tragic.

There is 'all kinds of wrong' with that pate. They may as well have gone for an italic or scroll font for the full effect, or put a Betty Boop on the left of it to really complete the picture.

I have a friend with a dog. That dog loves to eat everything it sees. Trash, cushions, small children, you name it.

One day we had a small get-together. Dinner, drinks, and some evening party games.

One of the party games was Scrabble, after an hour I was doing pretty well, but on the last round I was dealt a bum hand, with a Q, a Z, a V, and an assortment of other consonents - no vowels at all.

Suddenly that damn dog burst through the door, ran up to me and swallows my entire row of tiles. That was it, game over.

The next day, the dog was looking pretty uncomfortable. He was let out for his morning ablutions, but he kept pacing back and forth, back and forth.

Finally, with a strained look on his face, he laid his morning log. My friend laughed and called me over. Embedded in the stool were 4 Scrabble tiles.

Now, the dog's stomach acid had screwed them up pretty bad, they were barely legible.

But you know what? That Scrabble tile-encrusted turd still looked more like the name Thelma that this fking numberplate does.

This is one of those things that makes me hold the owners of these in the highest contempt - they seem to either like this (bad plate, lowered, multiple (fake) exhausts, etc) or driven like they've been stolen from someone who stole it in the first place (mini rant over)
