He’s had a good run to avoid a fine for 12 years, still needed the classic sad face pose though.

Great work Mr Dotson….oh I mean Dyson, obviously.

What A T05SER.. 5AD FAC3 10SER.
Indeed.
This reg abuse is getting out of control. Offenders should be dealt in a similar to the way those caught with no insurance. The vehicles should be seized, a fine of £500 imposed and the offender only allowed to drive away when they can produce a legally represented set of plates,

That's all entirely reasonable and would doubtless dispose of Chavplates in short order.

The problem that remains though is doing so wouldn't change the Chav fk the law attitude that produced the plate in the first place.

Does anyone see the irony here?

We have a government agency (DVLA) that is making great money out of selling chav plates that only work if they're displayed illegally.

We have another government agency (the Police) that can issue fines for people who display their plate illegally.

Double-whammy of tax on people who think that their ego is more important than the law.

Great, isn't it. I've got no problem with that whatsoever.

Not sure if it’s crappy but I think it’s a bit sad
A 55th birthday present from a doting son/daughter for a guy with the initials SF? Imaginative!

My mum had a regular issue plate "Knnn DAD" on her car. Didn't bother her (or anyone else?) one bit!

smile
If my family had bought that for me for my 55th a few years ago (which luckily they wouldn’t have) it would have been left on retention.
Or maybe it's just the original plate issued by DVLA when the car was bought new in 2015, and it's being displayed legally so nothing to see here.
Well 55 plates were given to 2005/6 cars so would be unusual for the DVLA to give it that. Plus as mentioned above it’s a 2017 car anyway.

Personally I don’t think it deserves to be in this thread as it’s perfectly legal, however any MUM, DAD, BO55 plates etc are all very cringe.

Oh god some of these are so st, do folk just buy any plate and make any word it can be contrived to "spell" ?

That BMW looks sort of ok, but then that plate is like the equivalent of having a poo on the bonnet.

The bar gets lower with every passing month.

I don't get the reason behind the angled slit on the “0" which is "in Doug's imagination" a "D".

Me neither.

I've seen the police behind a few dodgy plates lately & they just look the other way. Shame really!

I think this is the same guy who, during lockdown, I had to stand in the street to stop him and point out that 60mph in a village is not cool.

Anyway here is his tasteful plate. U A11 GAY
