What C124PPY personalised plates have you seen? Vol.3
Discussion
It partially fits the criteria of this thread - generic plate that other people said reads "Rolex"

Need a bit of help. I have a car at the moment which I believe has the original number plate still fitted - RO11 EHX
I’ve had countless comments that the number plate looks like Rolex. I have no interest in having this so was wondering if it would be worth a few quid to someone else.

I would love to know what's going through the mind of someone who buys one of these plates and butchers it into the most vague and cryptic (craptic?) representation of a name.
Who are they doing it for? I wondered if it was so their friends would easily recognise them when they're driving around, or something like that?

It is utterly tragic, I've no issues with private plates which are spaced correctly, however the ones that are butchered with strategically placed screw heads, letters/numbers with bits lopped off them or poorly spaced numbers and letters to kind of, if you squint heavily, from a long distance sort of spell a name, it is just beyond tragic.Who are they doing it for? We bought my youngest a private plate for her 21st, the first 2 letters and 2 age identifier numbers are clearly the shortened version of her name that we use, the final 3 letters are a shortened surname.
There is a woman local to us who has a similar plate to my daughters, clearly her first name is Rosie as it is RO51, her surname is Hob.... RO51 HOB, my daughter's is very similar and correctly spaced, as is this one.
