From PH's Mk1 Golf RestoMod thread - ignoring the N.I prefix plate spacing it's a lovely car though cool

I've stolen these from Facebook, on a page that keeps coming up where people tend to post their chavvy plates. I really hope LED plates don't become popular, that looks so naff.

On the plus side, once it's trendy they'll all want two number plates on show instead of fridge magnets on the rear and an original shoved behind the dash at the front.

I know it's not within the "rules" for this thread, however I think that's a great plate!

Saw this picture on a social media site. It was garnering a lot of plaudits.

I dip into this thread. These occasional ones where they extend the message off the plate are always my favourites.

Spotted near me. Didn't take pictures, as the owner was sitting in the car.

Kudos to the plate maker! Image the person asking them, yeah I'd like a backwards 1 and an upside down 1, it must read as NADINE rolleyes

They probably don't mind because they know if they have a plate like that they'll need to buy a second legal set of plates for the MOT, so it's a 2 for 1 sale.

The thing is, it's so ridiculously butchered, why not just use an 'N'?

It's no worse in terms of legality, is it?

True smile That's the thing that I find crazy with the people who have mis spaced plates. They cannot plead ignorance (like they often do) if they're taking them off each year, putting the correctly spaced ones on, then swapping the back afterwards.
