Another of the same meet - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dy-DUyX3ybI
This time from the central reservation. Most definitely not learning. rolleyes

The DJ in the the Stevenage injunction case has reserved his judgement.
https://www.thecomet.net/news/injunction-over-bann...
My bet it is that it will go through in due course. Just a matter of time.
Particularly given that the Black Country and Southend have already had one in place for several years.

The fall out from Stevenage will be a wake-up call to local authorities everywhere.
It wouldn't surprise me if Reading Borough Council were to decide to take pre-emptive action.
Reading Gate Retail Park is a well known location for the car cruise/meet scene.

Absolute morons. I’m a petrolhead through and through but if I was trying to drive down that road with my children in the car I’d want to kill those muppets.

Adams all right, he has a fun Sence of humour and is very knowledgeable on makes of cars and modifications, he,s been doing these videos for a while now and fair play to the guy . He has stuck with it, when others have come and gone. And to edit these meets (which can be quite dull) into an entertaining few minutes takes time. Not to mention the blanking out of some numberplates. Bit of a tedious process.
I find his stuff far more entertaining than anything some of the other bloggers have done.

It attempts to legitimise dangerous driving by making entertainment of it.

If people want to show off their old bangers in front of easily pleased people, hire a venue and put in place appropriate safety measures.

What you don't do is put everyday people unnecessarily in danger for the sake of some ego massaging.

Sorry but I disagree with you, he is not shouting out Revit or Spin it, and he certainly is not attempting to legitimise it. That's completely down to the Drivers of the cars and there is no doubt about it there are a few that do darn right stupid and dangerous things and should be given a good talking to or more!
The car park walk arounds are fine, but when you see some of these drivers old and young leave events, that's where things go downhill. Its the same with Cars and Coffee events the world over, people show off when leaving. The crowds of people that stand at the exits of these meets egging on the Drivers, laughing if they bin it and people standing in the middle of the road all share some of the blame IMO.

Here is a great Video done by Adam

Ah, the old, 'I crashed, but it wasn't all my fault as I thought I saw someone egging me on' defence.

Sorry, but drivers are entirely responsible for their own actions

By blanking out people's number plates I'd argue he's complicit in their law breaking, and thus part of the problem.

It could be argued that he is one of the crowd given the number of exit videos he posts. Many of them feature tcensoreds showing off.
Pixelating numberplates could be construed as condoning/encouraging such behaviour.
With 400k subscribers to his channel it becomes a symbiotic relationship whereby other idiots emulate what they see on screen.

I have a soft spot for Adam, he just turns up and videos it, its is up to folk whether they showboat and hang round on central reservations, you would think knowing its being videoed and could possibly be used in evidence may be people moderate their behaviour, but they dont. I think if something really did go badly wrong, it is quite possibly your past may come back to haunt you if someone's prosecution team wanted evidence of you being a bit. Blurring the reg may be partially successful but not sure if the Police can request the original footage, plus might be fairly easy to deduce who is who if you own one of the low number of Chasers in the country or similarly unusual car or distinctively modified more common model.

Kate Adie used to hang round in Mogadishu but didnt kick it all off to get views biggrin

But, they dont learn and it will happen again.

Thing is, people do stupid st and take it past a bit of fun, then it gets clamped down on massively and then they moan about it being "Elf and Safety gorn mad" but are first in line for a pay out if they get even slightly chafed.

its not so much the ones doing a bit of a burnout at low speed, its the excessive speed in that scenario that is really the sketchy bit, flying past a load of derps stood in and crossing the road at what must be 100 plus in some cases is just fking stupid, there are kids on bikes, with no lights pulling wheelies in the same area you have cars coming through, what could possibly go wrong.

I don't really see it as being a flip side, what I do see is Drivers Cocking it up!

So you are driving out of Silverstone or a Reading retail park, you see a camera and you then drive like a tit!

Its the Drivers Decision And sadly there have been some bad fails! But its NOT Just the UK.

It's just all so fking tragic. I got served a 'moving car show' video of that Adam chap's recently on YT, and it was one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen.

Imagine spending tens of thousands of pounds on buying and modifying a car, just to go and thrash it off a roundabout past a group of pubescent kids. Who does that? Who are these people?

I cringed so hard that I had to turn the video off.

Am with you, the trouble is many of these people have no brains and i am talking about the kids yet to shave standing a few feet from the cars as well as the drivers themselves;

I’m with you too. The video of people leaving Beaconsfield services in the rain was pretty tragic in my opinion.

It can only be natural selection.

In the video I saw an F-Type Jag, driven by a bloke old enough to know better, that spun while leaving a show like a massive chav and almost mounted a kerb. Sitting right on the edge of the kerb, gleefully watching the cars leave, were a family with young children.

Darwin would have had a field day.

Yep, me too. I used to subscribe to his channel when he did interesting videos of cars meets, walking round the cars and highlighting some of the more interesting ones. However, I think he realised the clickbait potential of showing the chav muppets leaving the shows and some of the more unofficial Sainsbury’s car park meets. I unsubscribed at that point. At some point soon some moron is going to lose control of a suped-up ricer and plow into a family.
