I wonder if Jonny & Richard left any crumbs in that car, or did you get to it before they had a chance to defile it

Personally I think the Alfa is a bit too far into the pointless side in the fact that it rides badly but is too tall to handle as well as a decent saloon. I also think the Macan is overrated, and I say that as a Cayenne owner and a Porsche fan.

I even tried an E63S to see if a saloon floated my boat instead and yes it cornered flatter but it felt artificially pointy, the interior was a blingy mess and the secondary ride was poor.

Had a go in an F-Pace with my mate who works in SVO. Yes the interior is only ‘OK’ to look at but the seats are great, the engine is mega, it rides really well and handles brilliantly for what it is.

So I ordered one! Hopefully might be able to pick it up this week if the logistics work!
Hi, would be interested how you get on with this

So did I until recently. My 2015 XFR-S (same engine) is currently in bits and having a complete top-end rebuild/renew with 50K on the clock. One new head with the other being rebuilt.

Looking at around £14K bill for the warranty company. yikes

I'm sure it's great to drive and sounds brilliant but I think I'd take either the Velar or more likely the iPace.

Not that I can afford any of them at the moment.

The front and rear bumpers look like they just took XF bumpers and stretched them
Vertically to me

The whole back end is uglier than it needs to be. Not a fan of the trumpet style tailpipes either.

I like it, driven one and although slightly bias as I want to stick with Jaguar, it was quiet on the road, comfy, and fits the bill. Rangie Sport SVR is way nicer inside and feels quicker....but ho-hum.

Don’t seem to be shifting, so hanging on for a while longer...

Well not this v8 because 1) it doesn’t fit and 2) it’s being discontinued at the end of the year

Pretty conclusive when up against the RRSport though - I know what I'd rather have and pocket the £30k difference!

In what way is that rather dull video conclusive of anything apart from a lack of imagination from the producer? It just shows two cars that use the same engine racing each other in a straight line.

Love your new SVR F Pace. Picking the same spec up first week September. Looks the same as yours but opted for Black 22” wheels . You still enjoying it?

Cheers thumbup

Yeah absolutely love it, only 400 miles in so not been able to use the full beans yet as advised but it's a cracking car. The suspension is settling in nicely and it gets better and better as the miles go on

I keep seeing it mentioned that this engine is becoming unavailable due to some kind of 'deal' with Ford expiring.

I was under the impression that the AJV8 and its iterations were a wholly Jaguar design?.
