I had one and flogged it when my SVJ arrived. Of all the cars I've owned over the years, the Urus was by a mile the best combination of performance, practicality, tech and fun. I loved it and will absolutely buy the inevitable Performante version whenever that appears. It is a brilliant vehicle and on another planet to the Bentayga or Cayenne turbo.

Rooney was caught drink driving a convertible Beetle, Beckham doesn't get convicted of speeding in a Bentley and Ronaldo had a crash in a Ferrari, so it's a broad spectrum of suitable vehicles.
Has Urus been in any knobbery involving a footballist yet?

That wasn't his, but belonged to the bint he picked up in a bar and was taking back to her place to....make sure she got home safely!

But Jurgan Klinsmann actually did have a Beetle Convertible, and still has it I think, a 1960s one.

They stick out like a sore thumb on the road! I like em, they've got appeal for something so big.

I've seen a few in Leeds and Bradford. Must have started renting them out...

Actually if I was in my 20's, earning a 6 figure sum every week and needed 4 seats, I think I would buy one of these. Even if I qualified for 2 out if 3 of the above, I probably still would if I could...

Not the greatest article in the PH pantheon. Wasn't quite sure where it was going and strangely enough didn't seem to get there as a result....

So, a Prius then? As long as it has tints, right? rolleyes

Yianni from Yiannimize had one of the first cars for the UK - but he didn't keep it long. I guess it is just a big, thirsty Audi underneath the Y shapes and hexagons...

Cool. Where do I collect my footballer's salary from, and is there parking available for my 8 year old S-Max with factory tints?

Agree, it might be a watered down Lambo, but it’s the best SUV by a long way, if that’s what you need/want. It’s probabky overpriced, but right now it’s holding value very well, so actual cost of owning is probably less than a lot of cheaper cars.

Only issue I have with it is the size for daily use, but long distances in comfort, with enjoyable speed and power, it’s hard to beat. I can’t think of a competitor.

And I didn’t tint the rear windows ;-)

It's a car that I just don't get. I have made my feelings on SUVs known many times, but I do struggle with the whole ethos. If you want an SUV, surely you would go to someone known for making SUVs? I don't want a Lamborghini SUV. If I want a Lamborghini, that means I want a ridiculous, flawed super car. I'm clearly in the minority though. Beyond all of that, much more simplistically, I don't know how anyone could look at the Urus and think, "Wow! I want one." It's a total mess of a car. A big Nissan Juke with some token Lamborghini styling cues. Looks are obviously very subjective, but I struggle to think how anyone could see this as anything other than a dog's dinner.

Wow, does that mean the shonky Vectra estate I've been using as a cheap tow car might have belong to Wayne Rooney?
