A bit lighter, a bit faster and a bit more hardcore. It will no doubt be brilliant but at what will be £300K once specced you'd have to really, really want one above a very low miles 720 at around £170K

With the 7xx LT coming in at £300k plus fully specked it makes this 600LT look somewhat of a bargain

I'm guessing that one is on S.O.R. ... would dread to think what a McStealership would offer for it.https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

Same tub, same engine, same gearbox.
Who even cares at this point.
It’s a variant of an existing car not a new model.Who even cares at this point.
Judging by previous LT cars (winning plenty of awards worldwide for best drivers cars) it should be sensational to drive.
Perhaps you value different things?
Maybe you are similarly dismissive about the Pista, Performante and GT3RS?
Just variations on a theme like the LT.
Nothing to get excited about?
We’re all different I guess.

You clearly do.Who even cares at this point.
It’s a lot easier not posting anything to show just how little you care.

I doubt they’d do it, but it would also be great to see a “400 series”, aimed straight at the 911/Corvette/Lotus market - that has to be a better way of increasing sales than building a bloody SUV.
That's a very interesting idea, but the segment is hotly contested and McLaren don't have the ability to scale up, as would be required, in production and distribution. One way to take your idea further would be to act in a truly disruptive manner: make a partnership with a relevant mainstream OEM and co-create this vehicle under an "engineered with McLaren." moniker or something like that. Make it a hybrid so that it's instantly "future proof" and sell it in both LHD and RHD as a true world car.
I wouldn't limit the shopping list of potential partners. Knock on some doors in South Korea. France. Even China.
