That's just silly. Why not go actual racing? Or buy an old FF car?
I suspect because not everyone wants to commit to racing.

£13K for an unsilenced day of exclusive hire at Snett. That's no noise restrictions, access to garages or scruit bays to run from and access the night before for setup. Doesn't include lunch though.
That's steeper than I thought it would be, but still not totally crazy I guess. We used to hire out Kirkistown over here in Northern Ireland for private motorbike track days. About 10-15 of us would club together to pay for it, but it was never more than a few grand between us, including the hire of the ambulance (obligatory). That would be for a total of 6 hours track time though - between 10am to 4pm, but by 4pm you were well and truly bloody knackered, so it's not as if we needed more!!!

it would be interesting to see how it faired against the top end hillclimb and sprint single seaters, some of which are older F3 cars.

I know t125 very well... some of the statements above are not true for example that is slower than gp2... gp2 lap time in Bahrain was qualy 1.39 - 1.41 lap times done by 67-year-old gentleman driver who never raced competitively was 1.45 im sure with young driver pro we are easily on gp2 lap times.
Also, the tub is wider so more comfy and can accommodate bigger drivers.
no preheater needed onboard stater motor and really easy to drive with minimum maintenance..
You can get anything with this performance form money how they were sold..
