That represents a sizeable increase over the £46,905 charged for the bare-bones Pure,
It does come with a lot of stuff that's not included on the Pure - if you spec them similarly the price us pretty close. The big brakes and Fuchs wheels add about two grand to a Pure for starters. valiant said:
Must be the only one who thinks it looks fantastic.
Would have one in a heartbeat but unfortunately I need both of my kidneys.
It’s not only you that thinks it’s a good looking car. I wasn’t sure when it was first shown, but now I really like it. Ive only seen one out in the wild and it’s better than the photos suggest. Would have one in a heartbeat but unfortunately I need both of my kidneys.

The configurator is live. Unfortunately the article isn't accurate - the carbon seats and roof add about £4k, so with paint it is about £62k.
I doubt the carbon roof and seats would make a difference and the paint depends on personal preference. Without those, you will get the same spec as the Premiere Edition with more power and bespoke suspension. It's hardly a bargain but it's not like other marques where you can easily spend 10-15k on options and still have certain things missing.Sporky said:

Accept that, but I hanker after a poverty spec edition (in rental car white) - even if it means tragic resale value
I don't think it's poverty-spec in pure Pure - you still get keyless entry, climate control, really good seats, Brembo brakes and so on.Resale is hard to judge; the ones listed still seem to be around new cost; the waiting list seems to vary between about 6 months and over a year, depending on whether a slot opens up. I don't think there'll ever be an oversupply issue.
I plan to keep mine until the world runs out of petrol; then I'll run it on booze or the blood of my enemies.

I'm happy to go with the standard wheels & tyres, just want to determine whether sports exhaust is going to get my flagged at places such as Bedford with its strict noise limits.
No idea I'm afraid; I didn't think they were enormously loud at Piste Bleue, but my ears aren't calibrated.
I got the sports exhaust for the silly childish pops and bangs, but I don't think it sounds awful without. Doesn't have the mechanical fury sound of an Evora, but there is some character there.

What’s the deal with servicing these? One of the attractions of a Porsche is that there’s no end of places (OPCs or independents) to have them looked after, but am I going to be able to take these to the local Renault dealership?
No. Only an Alpine centre. I live in France and there is a Renault dealer on practically every street corner, but I neeed to go to Marseille, 80km away to have my Alpine looked after.MummyDust said:
I didn’t particularly like these when they came out but after seeing one in the flesh I think they’re stunning. I must have spent 20 minutes hovering around the ones on display at the Silverstone Classic, just looking at them! I love them.
I've been saying this since I saw my first Alpine, almost 2 years ago. I fell in love at first sight, and still think it is a gorgeous car. But in pictures it always looks a little chubby. You only really appreciate its small size, and proportions, in the flesh.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
