I'm wary of any other options as they mostly just cover the car (I have 2) rather than the member, and they don't like older cars (mine are both 10+).
You will be fine with AutoAid so called said:
I've had the German ADAC Plus cover for over 12 years now.
It was Euro 92,50 this year and hardly gone up in that time for full European Breakdown Cover.
They've ship 3 cars back to the UK for me in that time and have been fantastic.
I wanted to join but when I went to they said no more uk residents unless they renew a few years ago It was Euro 92,50 this year and hardly gone up in that time for full European Breakdown Cover.

I've been an AA member for six years and have finally got sick of the annual argument over the price. This year it went up by more than double because I had the cheek to use it. My argument that it was never discounted below the initial price on the previous non-claim years fell on deaf ears, so here I am, adrift...
How are folks going about breakdown cover these days? Recommendations welcome.
Exactly my experience 2 or so years ago. Went for Green Flag (well up the range-why do the options have to be so complicated?). My daughter had had excellent service from GF. All I did was stupidly put petrol in wife’s diesel, but immediately noticed. Via GF an outfit called Fuel Doctor quickly arrived and sorted it. Hence GF worked for this family at around 62% of AAs similar cover. How are folks going about breakdown cover these days? Recommendations welcome.
