Currently looking at clubsport s or mini gp.

I'm currently in a a45 FL and after 3 years I fancy a change. Are low mileage clubsport s likely to hold onto value? So effectively free motoring bar service fuel etc
Depending on mileage, I’d say it should hold it well but it might take a bit longer to sell like this one!

Is this one so high due to the lack of air con, it seems cheap car. The one I have seen has 2k miles but has ac and is 36k. That's one reason for also looking at mini gp
The market for these types of cars is already very small particularly if selling privately and the lack of air con is a killer so not cheap enough it would seem. Trade bids on this will be significantly lower than a car with air con. The Mini GP is a similar story but at a lower price point. The only way that you will see depreciation proof motoring is if you sell it privately when you move it on as the spread on these things are shocking. If you buy a nice low mileage GP from a trader you will pay between 18-21K if you try to sell it back in a short space of time then bids would be 12-14k. If your looking at GPs then check if the shocks have been replaced either under warranty or with similarly quality aftermarket. They are a known weak point and will need replacing.

I love the GP2 but personally unless you can find a nice one that's cheap the VW makes more sense.
